Howdy!

I have a website ( It works fine if I try to access it from any where but within my own home office where I am hosting the site.

I get 401 The web site is blocked by adminstrator

I do not remember blocking it nor can figure out how to unblock it. Embarracing, it is like not having the keys to my own home.

I need to access site as I cannot work on it unless I can resolve locally.

Thank you all in advance!

Sounds like something to do with your security access rights... which will either be in the website folders in explorer, IIS or either your firewall. Have a look in all of these to see if there is a setting that shouldn't be there.

I'm sure you've tried already but test accessing your website documents locally by typing "localhost" plus any necessary port number / alias in the url to see if there is a problem locally. Not sure if any of this will work but good luck.
