The message I receive is :
Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified
This will work when I run it in VB. Help please

Perhaps you could post some code where you specify your dsn and driver.

is the dsn set up?

Yes the DSN is setup -
Example:
dsnInfo = "dsn=testxx;UserID=testuser;password=testpass;"

Do you have the Oracle client thing setup?
i know at our company, an oracle guy has to come to our webserver and change some stuff so we can call oracle from that webserver.

Could you have your oracle guy give you an example to send me - so I can go to our guys over here - I would appreciate any information that you can provide -

He's referring to the fact that you need to install the Oracle Network Client on the webserver if Oracle's not on the same machine.
