So I just got my upgrade and I am trying to install it and I get a message saying "This operating system is not supported by this installation"

Is this true? You can't install Pro on a 2000 system?

Nope. You should've check the specs on the Adobe site for system requirements. It is only compliant with Win XP Pro or Home Edition with Service Pack 1.

Don't give me that line "should've check the specs". Why would adobe cut there target audiance in half...Looks like Avid for me.

Yes, our people who are in charge of ordering software for our computers and editors decided to order the entire Adobe Video Collection that comes with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore DVD and Audition, without consulting me first. We cannot use XP on our computers at all, so I'm hosed. Well, I can use After Effects, but not until I learn the stupid software. I told them I want DVD authoring software, and they buy this. Does Adobe even have any other authoring software compatible with 2000?
