Prints double quantity selected??

I have a few reports that when the user selects to print more than 1 copy it prints like:
If 2 copies selected it prints 4, If 4 Then 8 etc. Is there a patch or setting for this? We're running version 8

Is it printing the report more times, or just duplicating the records?

when i select the number of copies on the client-printer, i obtain 4 copies (not duplicate records)if i select 2; when i choose 3 copies i obtain 9, and so on.. so it's not just duplication!!!

i'll appreciate very much if any one of you guys can solve the same problem as above?

this is what's happening to mine
if you set the copies to 2:
-in one printer it would print 4 copies
-in another it would print only one, no matter how many you copies you set it

the crystal report we're using is embedded in the .net environment, so no version i think...
