I am using Crystal Reports for the first "real" time. I am using the version that came with Visual Studio 6 (Help/About shows it as 4.6.1) I can design and show the report just fine through VB6 as long as I check the save data with report option on the file menu. If I don't check this and save the report, nothing comes up when I call the PrintReport method. A value of 0 is returned from this method in both cases.
Ultimately, I want to pass a value to the report (a Unit Number), and report back the results of that units test (1 main record, and 3 to 8 test detail records).
Also, a new version of CR is not an option (unless I buy it myself), so I'm stuck with V4.6 or MS DataReport Designer.
