Couple questiions:

1. Has anyone ever used the Printmig.exe tool and if so, how did it work??

2. Someone told me that it will only work if you are using the exact same o.s., i.e. NT4.0->NT4.0 and not NT4.0->W2K Server(which is what I am doing) Is this true??

I only have tweleve printers, eight of which are H.P., so I can use the Jet Admin and it will install these quickly. Would it be quicker to use the printmig.exe or just create new printers on the server individually??

Thanks,

Mr. Abaddonb

Nevermind, I just did some reseach on it and found out from Microsoft that you CANNOT use the Printmig.exe tool when doing an upgrade from NT4.0 to W2K.

Oh well.

I thought I'd seen documentation for the new version which said it could be used for migration purposes.
