I am new to access and am looking to have the print dialog box pop up to enable selection of a printer when the command button to print a form is depressed rather than the print going to the default printers, I am trying to print graphs that have been built within the form.

Hope this makes some sense!

docmd.runcommand.accmdprint opens the print window where you can choose a different printer

Hi all, I have question - or maybe I am dreaming here.

I created a form with a button on it, which printed off a report, after identifying the correct transmitall id. Now this function was working perfectly as long as all of the users were printing to the same printer.

The users have switched locations and now print to 3 different printers throughout the department...with each one being set to a different default.

I've scoured this site...and even attempted to implement the code from Thread 181-892456, to no avail.

Is it possible for users to click on a print button, have their default printer captured...and info printed to that printer - from a form?

Depending of the version of access you may consider the Application.Printers collection and the Application.Printer property.

Hope This Helps, PH.
