Hi,

We have several applications with I/O to devices sush as ticketprinter, balance, cashdrawer, etc...
Since the new generation of computers (WIN98 - WINme - WIN2000 and processors > 700 MHz) we have problems with com port communication!!!

We could solve the problem with the balance by reserving the specific COM-port (START - SETTINGS - CONFIG PANNEL - SYSTEM - DEVICES - PROPERTIES....
It isn't possible anny more to print with the ticketprinter.
Even if a time delay is built in in our program... no print at all.

What goes wrong???

Wim
