Printing to tabloid size on a phaser 7700 on a PC

Hello,
I am trying to print a tabloid sized doc to a phaser 7700.
I have made this so in the document setting. I have tabloid size paper in the printer and have selected tabloid size paper thru printer properties in quark's print window and have center the print on the page, but when I go to preview, quark still think that I am printing on 8.5" x 11" paper.I try it anyway and what do you know, it won't print my whole print.

Is there a setting that I am missing inorder to print on tabloid?

You need to set the document to the right size.
In PRINT, setup you need to specify the paper size to print to. Make sure you have the right PPD too.

If that doesn't cure it check the printer tray assignments (don't think that is your problem).

Hi... thanks for the response.
I have my document setup to 11 X 17
I think the problem lies in the print set up.
I change the paper size to tabloid in printer properties, even though the phaser has sensors that can tell what paper you have in the tray, and then I check preview and it still is set to 8.5 x 11. I then recheck to see what the printer properties are set to, and they have reverted back to 8.5 x 11.
As a test, I made a document in Illustrator at 11 x 17, and put the 11 x 17 paper in the same way as I do with quark, I set it up in the same manner, and print. It comes out fine at a full 11 x 17.
This would mean that it is not the printer, but how the printer drivers and quark are talking to each other.Correct?
What else can I do?
