Printing to File in Quark 4.x

Hello all,

I'm attempting to print to file in Quark 4.11 and notice theres no print to file box to check. Is this feature still in Quark 4.x?

Go to Print, then Printer button down the bottom and change the destination to File. If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.

Hi Diablo,

Well You haven't mentioned the OS that you are using.

Well i'm giving you the options for both Windows and Mac.

Windows :

Go to Start > Settings > Printers and right click on your default printer and select properties. Select the Ports tab and check the box named File (You need to configure the File Port to Acrobat Distiller for which you need to have Acrobat Distiller installed on your System). Once you've done this Restart your System.


Mac :

Go to Print > Printer > Destination > File.
Make sure you have Acrobat Distiller selected as your Printer to Print to File.
