Printing Stopped PeopleSoft/Crystal versions??

I am running PeopleSoft Financials 7.62 and have recently installed A software package containing a more current version of crystal reporting. We have lost the ability to print journals as the newer version of crystal has overwritten the old version within PeopleSoft. Does anyone know of any patches in peopleSoft to upgrade the drivers??
I know an overall upgrade to PeopleSoft 8 or better will work but our organization is so large it will be next year before we do the upgrade..............
