Our site uses 6400 series phones exclusively. To date, we've been using an Excel spreadsheet to format and print paper faceplates.
I'd prefer to go to a standalone program to do the same thing. (Hey, if I'm dreaming here, I may as well wish for it to be Windows based, too.)
Has anyone got one they can share? What's everyone else using?
Thanks.

Hi Doug,

Send me an E-mail to rv@vancouver.hm. I may be able to help but it will take a little bit of work. I do have such a program but I wrote it myself and in order to give it to anyone else I have to do some mods so I don't run into problems re my employer.

If you launch ASA/DSA, on the general tab click on Add User, click on next, enter any number in the extension field (ie 1), click on next, select the set type. Click on the button and when new screen pops up enter the text you want to appear. When done click on print label. There is a layout button which gives you the option to change character size/style and rectangles and other neat stuff. Just make sure you don't press ok when you are done or it will make the changes to the switch. The only proble it will only do one label at a time.

I use an Excel spreadsheet because I like printing my labels in color. If anyone wants me to email it to them, just send me an email to bhodgins @ answerfinanial.com.

It takes care of the 6408, 6416, and 8411 phones.

A company I've worked with in the past has another Excel program that works with labels you can purchase from them.
Personally, I'm usually good with just my own personal label-making via excel... Phonia
