Does anyone know of a quick easy way to allow a user to print one label on an envelope?

I have a program that has a table of clients that they can write letters to on the fly (I pull certain fields off the client record for them and insert into a template.

They print a letter fine, but would like to add an envelope print for just one label. My customers have all different brands of printers. I did this in FoxPro DOS by passing the chr codes to landscape the envelope. Is there a way in foxpro for windows using the windows print drivers?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Unless you have one-up labels, and can define a label form for those, you're pretty much stuck with the sheets of labels which FoxPro will always start printing at row 1 column 1, i.e., first label. It would probably be better to design a simple 1 page report form and make sure the orientation is landscape, using some sort of fixed font like Courier or System. That way, it would pretty much be a standard font for different printers, and you could feed one envelope through instead of labels.

Thanks for your help. I did that. It looks a little strange, but I put the modify report into the program so that they could move the label around if they need to.
Thanks again,
Jane
