I'm sure there may be a strand on here somewhere, but I use both PC and Mac. Windows allows me to highlight an area choose "Selection" and print. I was surprised Mac didn't have this feature. Does anyone know of a plug-in?

Hi Resintel
You can do a Command, Shift, 4 and draw the area you want to print.
On OS 10.4.10 that will give you a Picture 1.png which you can then print out.
Hope this helps

I just tried it - that was awesome info!!! Mac guys I asked were scratching their heads and didn't have a clue Windows had that feature and told me Apple couldn't do it. Apple's feature is much better.

Thank you much!!!

That feature, Command-Shift-4, works on Panther, OS 10.3, also. The picture is saved on the desktop as a PDF file.

Don't forget, Command-Shift-3, takes a whole screen picture and has been around since OS 7.5.
