Hi,
we have converted Quark B/W catalog files which has linked EPS images of the products.
When we try printing InDesign files pictures come out very fuzzy.
If Files are exported to PDF (hight quality or press quality) the quality is better but still not as good as it was when we printed Quark files.

Any hints/suggestions?

Thanks

Check the print settings.

If printing to poscript device make sure you have the latest driver and correct ppd. If applicable check the screening.

On Output tab - Color, try leave unchanged or composite gray.

On the Graphics tab - Images - Send Data, pick All. (That's the one that I've always found helped the most)

On Advanced, leave OPI unchecked and set Transpaency flattener to High.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
