I am creating a magazine in Indesign for the first time.
I've used QuarkXPress before and never had this kind of problem.
When I import images of eps file(from photoshop), I do it by Place command under 'file' menu.
However, when i export it to pdf, the texts comes out pixelated.
It's not sharp. What can i do to solve this problem?

Another one,
after opening in pdf, the document sizes changes. it becomes smaller, is there any way i can resolve this or an option? I cannot find it..

Please Help. it's urgent!!
Thank you

Both of your issues involve the PDF export settings, which you seem to have overlooked when exporting.

It is typical for a PDF file to be compact. A PDF file is not the same as an INDD file so there should be no reason that the file would be anywhere near the same size.

On the printing problem, check your links in Indy before you print. If you are saving the file on a disk you need to package the doc before you save it. This will save the links, placed files and other doc info which will be needed.
It is always a good idea to package the file before you export or get ready to print. Plus if any damage is in the file this process will get it out 95 percent of the time.
You will find this under file/package.
