Printing appears to freeze up on SP1 HP 4100

the reason for this is a problem when trying to print throught SQL reporting services with the current HP 4100 driver the system will appear to be frozen when in reality it is writing a huge temp file and stops all other processes.
Has any one seen this before and is there an easy fix?

I know nothing on this subject but did see some reference to the type of Query being performed causing a large Temp file (near the end of this next article).
