Using Word 2002, sp3.
The last 2 documents that I've received from an individual in which I've tried to print, as soon as the printing starts, the computer restarts.

I can print documents from other people.
This same document that restarts my PC can be printed by other users w/o any problems.

Any ideas?

Can you scan the document with your anti virus software. If not try putting document on to a floppy (if you have one of those) or a cd and scan the floppy or cd with the antivirus software.

One option is 'select all' and the use Paste Special to paste it to another document as text, losing whatever 'feature' is causing the problem.

I'd suspect a Macro that for some reason doesn't work on your machine. But I'm not an expert and it could be lots of things. Including a virus, as Davidprince says.

Even though you have run tests and can print other documents, get the latest drivers installed for the printer. We had the same issue at work and other docs on the machine would print fine, other colleagues could print on other machines fine. We installed the later printer drivers and this resolved the problem.
