Hi,
Got a strange printer problem??
I've got a couple of users in an Active Directory environment. And also I've connected two printers to the DC. A laser printer on LPT1 and an Inktjet on a USB port. Both are published in AD.
But non of the users can print using the USB printer. The LPT1 works.
But if a user that's NOT a member of AD (it's a member of a separate workgroup with only a shared folder mapping to the DC.) And I map the printer as \\MyServer\i550 than that non-AD user can print...????
Conclusion: Simpel printing works but AD users are not allowed to print on the USB printer.
Any suggestions.?
(Already treid making all users member of the print operators group but that didn't solve the problem?).
