...you mean grabbing the printers mark for your own design use?
...make a PDF from illy, include all marks...
...make new illy doc, file > place the PDF, choosing to embed rather than link, (turn link off in the place dialog)...
...you can then grab the element you need using the direct select tool (white arrow), move to another layer...
