Could someone illuminate me on this:
I have a network of mixed win2k(Dell) and win98se(clone) machines.
I have an HPLaserjet 1100 set up on a win2k machine with file/printer sharing enabled. The guest account is also enabled.
At this point, any of the 2k or 98 machines should be able to print to the hp, right? That's the way it's worked for me in the past.
In this case it's not working.
If I go into Start-->Settings-->Printers on another pc on the network, the shared HP shows up. I send a test page, but nothing ever prints. The host pc (the win2k machine) shows no jobs in it's queue. When you go back into Start-->Settings-->Printers on the sending pc, it shows no jobs in the queue, but "HPLaserjet -- waiting" shows up next to the icons.
Am I being boneheaded and missing something obvious? I swear on the souls of all the goldfish I have ever flushed that this printer setup has worked for me before.
Thanks for any help possible.
