Hi Everyone,

I'm running a print server on Win2003 server, I'm trying to let guestusers from a different domain use the printers on the printer server but when they guestuser goes into the domain, he is able to see the win2003 server but he is unable to see the shared printers. I have set the printer to be share for everyone. How can I let the guestuser use my printer? I have also created a user account on my AD server for that user and added that user to the shared printer but the guestuser is still unable to connect to the shared printer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx,
LoJACK

Thanks,
LoJACK

How is the guest user attaching to your network?

Is the Guest coming from within the same forest or another forest? Coming from A Win2K or Win2K3 domain or an NT4 Domain?

the guestuser is connected directly to our network. But he is from a different domain (different forest). He is running Windows 2000 Pro

Thanks,
LoJACK

Great, the picture is becoming clearer. How does this person log onto your network? Are they logging in with Terminal Services or are they just attaching to your network or using a special ID?

Most importantly, do you have a trust between the forests?

I hope you find this post helpful. Please let me know if it was.

Regards,

Mark
