Hi,

There is a printer in my office that has 3 trays to load paper from (sorry for being so vague, I do not know what printer is being used, but I can find out if it is relevant). When printing, if the printer runs out of paper in two of the trays, it doesnt seem to take paper from the third tray. Instead, it indicates lack of paper. I checked the driver for the printer, but it seems ok. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks.

If it's an HP, or if it works like HP printers, you need to go to the printer itself and enter its menu. With HP LaserJets, you can "program" the printer to automatically change to another tray when one is empty.

I suggest finding the printer model and downloading the manual for it so you can see exactly how it's done.
