Hi,

I have a program for bookkeeping that runs in DOS mode. Problem is that it does not recognise the printer because this printer must be addressed through TCP/IP. The program only wants to print to LPT ports. Can I fool the DOS program in any way, letting it think it prints to a LPT printer, while this is being send to an IP printer by my OS? Do you also know if this is possible if I run the DOS program under XP?

Thanks in advance!

This is easy to set up in Win 9x, but I'm not sure about capturing in XP/2000...Do you have a Novell client on your PC?

No, just XP. I don't have a win9x system here, so if you can explain me how this is done in 9x, maybe I can find it out for XP?

I would, if I thought it would do you any good. The drivers for the these operating systems are completely different, and thus the menu choices available in 9x are not at all like XP/2000/NT.

If you haven't yet, try reposting this in the XP forum, hopefully you'll get an answer.

I will, thanks
