Hi all I have a problem on my NT win 98 and XP pro net work
I can add a printer and print from it but on reboot the printer will not work. I get a message saying that the print spooler is not running, however not all machines have the problem, and if I rebrowse it works again!! any ideas?

Some lead, some follow....I just Hope!

What OS is your print server and what OS is on the client that is having the problem. Is it on all clients or just one?

Hi
1, It is only causing problems with my XP Pro clients
2, The only scripting is to map the users folder

3, Just noticed it does not affect local client if logging on as Administrator.

On my 9X client (workstation) the printer name included a space, removed the space and named it less than 8 characterds, voila. Wierd, but it worked...
