Hi,

I have a problem that keeps reoccurring on our Windows 2000 Server. We have a Minolta 2200 MagicColor network printer. Sometimes when jobs fail to print (when there is an error, usually wrong paper settings) jobs get stuck on the server. Problem is that spoolsv.exe uses 99% of CPU and server doesn't respond well. Usually I can delete the files from the \spool\printers directory manually, but sometimes server is so busy that I can't do even that and I have to restart it. Any ideas?

Thanks!

If I can remember properly what I did is I delete the printer and load the latest driver and it works. Hopefully it will works for you as well.

Thanks,

I updated the drivers, but hadn't actually deleted the printer. Will try this to see if it helps.
