I just a bought a used mini printer for my laptop, HP Deskjet 320. Did not realize that it uses a battery until I got home and found that the battery compartment was empty. Does anyone know if this printer which is discontinued, works without the battery. The power supply does not turn it on and no lights show on the front panel so I am wondering if it needs a battery to operate at all times.
