Just installed a deskjet 640c for a temp and when she prints , the print goes to the Q then vanishes, if we go into the LPT port printer prefs theres a allow legacy we tick that and its fine, but when she reboots it doent work again. Anyone know why this happoens in win2k.

After reboot is it still checked to allow legacy, or does it uncheck by itself?

yes its still ticked, but it doesnt work, so you reboot to untick then retick and it works
