How do I print or orient the text upside down?

There's no easy way to do it in Word. I use the WordArt option on the Drawing toolbar when I have to do it, not the prettiest way, but...it works.

I tried with Excel. I found the format to be +/- 90 degrees, not upside down or 180 degrees.

Depending on the version of Excel and/or the printer make & model, you may be able to use PCL codes embedded in your document. Take a look at

Some printers allow this as an option.

Try File > Print > Properties > Advanced

or wherever your navagation takes you for your printer options.

My printer lets me rotate 0 to 180 degrees (word,excel whatever). I can do a host of other options like start printing from last page to first etc.

Also In Word if you use a textbox it allows yo to rorate 90 degrees in both directions but not all the way upside down.
Very cruel.

I was wrong about my printer being able to print upside down. When I got home I tried but discovered I must have been dreaming.

Sorry for the bad info.

I do agree with CARR about the WordArt option or inserting scanned text and using the rotate option.

A question for CARR is do you know if WordArt is restricted to the "Art" text provided?
Is there a way to change the ArtText to look like normal text?
