I have a NT4.0 Server SP6.1 with several Win 98 and Win 2000 PCs. I have 2 Intel Netport Express print servers each with one printer on LPT1. \\OFFICE\PR_LPT1 and \\WORKROOM\PR_LPT1. 192.168.0.230/231. I have no problems connecting and printing to the network printers from Win 98/2000. Up to a few days ago I could also print from my XP Profesional PC. Now when I attempt to print from XP I get a "Printer unavailable on the network" message. If I browse the network I see everything but the Netport Expres printers. What am I missing? Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I can't see the printers when I browse.
