I have a WINNT Workstation that is also used as a Print Server. Each time there is a Print Job sent to the printer, the memory drops to near zero and the system reboots. Any advise to possible cause and solution is appriciated. [sadeyes] Oakwind

You may have a corrupted printer driver in the server and since this driver gets copied to the machines, then the Some of the machines may also have it.

In addition, did you check to see if you have enough hard drive space for spooling file? you may need to change the spool directory to another drive.

In addition, have you checked if you have the WORM_BUGBEAR.A virus. It tends to mess up with printers. check the following URL for information about checking to see if you have this virus since almost none of the Virus Scanners can detect this virus. In this URL, you can find a utility for non-Trend Micro customers under automatically removing the virus.
