I'd like a report to print twice on the same page. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

HI

I assume you want to print in the same page two reports or the smae report twice.. one below the other.

SO if I understand you correctly, what you need is to set the page lenth to half the normal size. You can do that by setting the default printer page setting under the windows printer and select a suitable size paper length. This will solve your problem.

Thanks Ramani,

However I must have not made myself clear this first time. Rather than simply trying to make a report fit twice on a single page I looking for a suggestion on how to programatically make one report (report A) fire twice and print on a single page.

Hi

1. You can look into some of these commands.
_PCOPIES
_PEJECT
PRINTJOB .. ENDPRINTJOB
But I for one will not suggest you to use these, since these are backward oriented !

2. You can issue the command
SYS(1037)
before the print report is started and control many things from that. But the Windows default handler plays the ole and so cannot be 100% sure if what all you want is available in the printer options. In my case, I do have whatever I need.. multiple copies.. landscape.. portrait.. paper size whatever.

Hope this helps you :) ramani :-9
