Just upgraded to Quark 5 and was hoping one of the issues I have had would be fixed, but it was not. My company designs brochures for the hospitality industry and we need fairly large prints. We have a HP 20ps printer and I am running both a windows machine(2000 pro) and a G4 (OS9) and both have the same issue. When printing ANYTHING over 8.5x11 the "Preview" tab in the print dialogue box shows it will fit the page, but when it goes to print it comes out pushed to the right or the top is cut off or its pushed to one side. It has NEVER worked in V4 or 5. I am going through paper like mad. My printer has the capability to print on sheets 13x19 but if I do a print on 11x17 and tell Quark to print with registration centered the print centered on the page, it will start printing way to the left or way to the right. The thing that gets me the most is I can change the settings all I want and cannot get it to print twice the same way. If I print 2 copies and make no changes at all in the print options, one will be cutoff on the right side and one will be pushed to the left. Has anybody got any idea of a fix or even a workaround for this, or am I just stupid and haven't found that one small checkbox!? Thanks a ton.
