As we have to make complex reports, we've found no other possibility as to create multiple reports for one actual printout.
The problem is that most of the users are working with networkprinters and have been complaining about the multiple jobsheets they get in between.
Is there a possibilty to collect the output before sending the stuff to the printer, so there is only one printjob?

HI

One idea could be..
Instead of sending the report direct to a printer.. first send them to a File using the command..

SET PRINTER TO (myFile) ADDITIVE

Run the reports

SET PRINTER TO

and forward the file which is a collection of all reports, to printer.

This will work as long as you can "copy" the file to the printer, bypassing the printer drivers. If you try to print it or "type" it, it will wrap the binary file in additional control codes and could distort the output.

Krit,
The good news is that VFP 8.0 does have the ability to "Chain" reports together. You'll just have to wait till "early next year", exactly when is known yet.
