Hi,
I've setup scripts to export data from the Event logs into a database...from here I'm analzying print activity on our network printers and manipulating the data...
I'm running into what I think might be a Windows issue. If you print a file from Notepad, let's say the file is C:\temp\folder\newfile.txt ... the Event log records the print job with the file printed as "newfile.txt", no path in front.
AutoCAD 2004/2005 displays the full path to the file in it's title bar, so the full path does come out in the print logs. Adobe Photoshop, Notepad, Word, etc. do not display the full path, thus the path does not print.
Anyone know any way around this, or any software that will log the full path of a file printed? I've tried a few different 3rd party programs with no luck on the full path...
Thanks!
BFC
