Hello All,
We have an database application that run 24/7 that must live on NW 3.12. For the past 10 years, any change to the database prints to a dot matrix printer connected to a NW print server. The Epson Printer is fed various printer codes through the print queue by the data entry application (like condensed printing, etc).
Does anyone know how to print from a Novell print queue to a text file (without the printer codes)? I've come across notes of how to do it on a per user basis, but that won't work for us. We have about 20 users constantly modifiying our database, so it needs to be routed to a common log file for everyone to reference. Right now, we have a mountain of paper that people sift through when they need to look up something. Also, I have a 10 year headache from listening to the dot matrix printer...
Thanks.
