print button submits form

using vs 2005.

I have a crystal report viewer on my page, along with the report source.

I also have a form on the same page.

I have the crystal toolbar enabled with the print option.

when I click the print button in the crystal toolbar, it submits the form before launching the print wizard.

this causes a problem since the form has required fields -- and when the print button submits -- it launches the required field validators instead of the print.

any suggestions?

Try putting smartnavigation= "True" in your
<%@ Page Language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false" Inherits="Web.frmReset" SmartNavigation = "True" CodeFile="frmReset.aspx.vb" %>

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunatly, it didn't work.

It seems that and event clicked in the crystal toolbar (next page, print, export, etc.) also submits the form -- therefore triggering the required field validation tags.

Any other possible suggestions appreciated.
