HELP HELP HELP!
HISTORY:I have a 5.5 Site 2 bridgehead servers (BH1 and BH2) 2 mailbox servers (MB1 and MB2). During a hardware fault we had to replace MB1 (without realising or checking that it was the original first server) In order to recover because of a restore problem we had to delete the Object from the directory. That server then failed and we had to bring the original server back into commision with a restore.
Two issues: obviously by deleting the primary roles server we have broken something in the directory because we can only admin MB1 from MB1, any attempt to add a mailbox from any other server results in an access denied. Also we can no longer add a new server to the site as the error reports the inability to connect to the remote registry.
Two weeks have past now since we started this so a complete site restore to before we removed the original server from the site is not feasible.
Any help would be appreciated and may even be rewarded with BEER!!
