I need 10 reasons (other than money to convert from Centrex to PRI (on a bcm 400)

Does every set have an individual Centerx line now? Are you 'in Centrex' with any other facilities close by? That could be good or bad. Also, price counts for more than '1' in my book (especially if there are tons of them).

I would say it would depend on if they are one location or multiple buildings, how many centrex lines, I.e. a dozen or 100, and who would manage it, If there is going to be a fair amount of MAC work I would say a big one is easy management for a trained staff, if it is small amount of lines and/or a untrained staff then that is a problem

This customer has 1 premise with 64 Centrex users. Their bill is almost 2000 a month in access alone. I am proposing a PRI with 23 PSTN

They will get A new BCM400 PRI access for less than they are paying today They will save 32000 in the first 5 years and once the BCM is paid for they will see an additional savings of 7200 a year after

So Money is the #1 reason to change. But some people (especially sudo government outfits) do not care about the savings they need to know the benefits of going from Centrex to PRI

. faster buildup and teardown of calls
. integral to Signaling System 7
. clearer voice
. you can then set-up private ISDN trunks within your PBX for applications such as videoconfrencing
. not that it costs less but that you can pay for the conversion by savings within XX number of months.
. supports DID calls
. calls are handeled on a call by call basis
. immediate Caller/Name ID vs. wait until second ring to get caller/name id
. the ability to create your own multi-call hunting on the target lines.
. less equipment needed to support the same number of talking paths (trunks)

OK I came up with 10 but a couple of those are kind of weak. any better suggestions would be good.

-PRI comes into building on only one pair of wires.
-PRI is usualy fixed within 4 hrs by the TELCO
-PRI has Error lights on the KSU and on the Transmitter
-PRI is much more flexible with progrmming

My 2 cents
Money
Features
Control
When Adding new employees there is no need to order a new Centrex line from Telco and waiting 4 or 5 (if your lucky) buisness days to get it installed.
