Hi,

We are currently running G3si V10 and we are on the process on installing an ISDN-PRI line (30 channels). what I think what I just need to configure is configure the DS1 card (add ds1 xxxxx), add a signalling group for the D-channel and create the trunk group. but I read on one of the threads here, thread690-947923 we need to use a processor interface card for ISDN service in G3si systems. can anyone ther confirm if I still need this if I am running G3si V10? our ISDN licenses are enabled. If we need processor interface card can anyone tell me the step by step procedure/configuration to do it and what are the other requirements.

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

The PI port only applied to G3si systems prior to V7. Make sure that the ISDN-PRI software is active on your switch. Check the Customer-Options page.

4merAvaya is correct you need to make sure you have PRI turned on under "changer system-parameters customer-options". Avaya has to do this. You also need the correct DS1 circuit packs to support the new service.
