IS this the correct pinout for the db 15 to rj 48 connector.

db15 rj48
1=5 green
3=2 ORANGE
9=4 RED
11=1 BLUE

If this correct should I be able to put a hard loop on this and should my card go green?

Thanks!!

Pin-out look OK, but your card wouldn't
go green because the DCH will not establishe when
you just loop it.

How do I verify my card and cabling are good then? The co keeps telling me they cannot see me.

Alt.1 - Loop the line from CO, they should be able to se the loop then.

Alt.2 - If you have another PRI, try to connect it to your new card.

to make a loop back, on a rj 45

1 to 4
2 to 5.. and yes the card will stand up, the d will establish, the rls wronge mode, the card will go green then yellow.. if all of that does not happen in that sequence, the problem is on your end..

does the provider have a smart jack in your switchroom? if so have them loop it up and LOOK at the smart jack.. if it's in loopback the lights will reflect that.. when they say they can't see you, can they see the csu or not..

you do not have to use a csu unless your provider has to have one.. they will not see your switch if your transmit/rec is turned over..
