Here's my setup:

PRI with 100 DID numbers. Our main number ends in 8088, and the MICS 7.0 system is setup to receive 4DN length. CP150 voicemail.

I understand that most DID numbers need to point to a target line, however I need this particular DID(8088) to HUNT. In other words, I don't have it assigned to a DID, my PRI(001-023)'s main set is set to 221, the operator set.

In this way 8088 always rings to the operator unless all 23 channels are in use.

My problem is trying to activate night mode on that DID. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to make night mode see lines 001 through 023(it only sees 034 and higher). If I point 8088 to line 200, I can make night mode work. But then if 200 is busy the number reports as busy, which I can't have.

Any ideas? We're trying to setup night mode to ring the AA which gives three options for transfers to on-call people base on a choice.

Assign 8088 to a target line. Assign it to appear and ring on the recept. set. (or ring only, if it makes you happy; just make sure they have enough INT paths.)

For Night mode, just treat the main line/target line just like any other CO.

I've tried that, I assigned 8088 to target line 200 as a public line. It now has a button for Line 200, and the calls only ring on that button. Should it be a private line to the 221 DN?

You can give it more buttons to ring on. Also make the Prime set for Line 200 extension 221 this way it will roll to her intercom key.

Is that was "appearances" means? Also, if it's in night mode and picking up 200, if two calls came in at once would the CP150 pick them both up?

Just to follow up, I did get this working

8088 is set to target line 200.

Target line 200 is assigned to DN 221, with 6 line appearances.

Ringing group 002 has the voicemail DN in it(265) and nothing else. Line 200 is setup for Night Mode to use Ringing group 002.

Everything works flawlessly at the moment.

Thanks for the insight to everyone that helped.
