Good Afternoon All,

If I were upgrading a system from XC 6.0 to 6.1 and then to 7.1 utilizing the USA XC Upgrade Tool, would I lose my PRI Enabler keycode when the serial number for the system changes, or by doing the upgrade keep the original system ID intact?

Also, has anyone experienced a system loss of data in these instances, or does utilizing the tool maintain programming integrity?

Thanks in advance....

I believe you would keep the system ID since its with the KSU

Always use a RAD and do a backup before attempting the upgrade so you can revert back if need.

Keep in mind the Line numbering plan may change also

Thanks Curly.

Why would you think the numbering would change at a 6 and 7 S/W version level?

I'm not sure if it did or not ...was just a beware.
Sorry have not been on road for years now....everything I say is memory but thats fading at times.

fading fast...think 4 to 5-7 caused line to change from 145 to 154 for target...4 to 5-7 caused issue with routing

Do mean lines changed from 145 to 154 from software 5.0 to 6.0? or was it 4.2 to 5.0?

And did this also apply to trunks 025 to 031?

Did the lines change only once during last few years?
