Anyone ever had a problem with this? 406v2 running 4.2.23 single PRI. No Alarms or errors on the PRI. I am thinking it is the providor but that is always fun to prove on a PRI.....

Put something else on the line to prove. I would wager it's the provider doing an IP to ISDN conversion and the delay from the IP connection is getting carried over, delay over true ISDN is almost impossible unless you use IP phones that cause the delay system side :)

I agree with Andy - they're all sneaking SIP service into the mix without admitting it. Providers are becoming less and less trust-worthy.

Yep, it is an AT&T IP flex service coming in on fiber and providing voice PRI and internet off the same cisco router.

Then 99% that's the source of the delay :)

Only way to prove it is not the system would be to get a standard PRI delivered and use the same PRI card in the system with the same programming.

Not really, you can get ISDN test sets and use that or another system and use that, they can't argue that every device connected suddenly develops a delay issue that clears when not on their circuit :)

Like Andy said there is almost no way to put a delay on a PRI without having timing issues that will cause an alarm.
This late 1980's technology it is in use for almost 30 years and has proven good and effective ever since so if there is VoIP in the mix you know it is the culprit.

Interrupt the silence only if you improve it by saying something, otherwise be quiet and everybody will be grateful.

sometimes you need to be economical with the truth
tell the Line provider that you System has been tested & the fault proved to their network.
they will use the standard "possible charges" scare tactic, call their bluff.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
