I have recently solved a printing problem only to encounter another. When the print commands (via ? "Text") are sent to the printer, they are also echoed (right term?) on the current active form. The only way to refresh the form is to close it and reopen it.

Is there a command that prevents any print commands from going to the currently displayed form?

Thanks in advance for any and all help

It depends on how you are "printing". If it's a REPORT, don't forget the NOCONSOLE option. If you are using ? (??) statements, make sure you have done a SET TALK OFF - and remember this setting is scoped to each data session. You may awnt to double check your SET CONSOLE and SET DEVICE settings.

Thanks for the quick reply. It's not a report. I did some more digging and found that I needed both the talk and console set to off (only had talk off). This confirms it.

Thanks again for the help. Solved my problems and makes the weekend a time to enjoy.

Cheers.
