Hi folks,

I have an engineering database that I distribute periodically to customers on CD ROM. I have found from previous issues that people will tinker with things, so I need to make it "idiot proof".

Is there any way to prevent the user from editing or creating new queries and possibly the table data as well? (Converting to MDE file only prevents changes of forms, modules and reports.)

Regards,

Brian

Sorry - before anyone states the obvious about CD ROMs - I forgot to add that the customers usually copy the data from the CD into a new DB on their servers to allow multiple user access etc. It's here that the DB can be changed.
