Prevent unauthorized Messenger Service Usage

All:
I am wondering if there is a way to prevent my users from using the messenger service of a computer?

I would like the administrator to still be able to use it, but not anyone else.

Please let me know.

If you are in a domain environment, you could setup a group policy, and in the software settings option of the policy block usage of msn messenger, or the messenger service
