Hello
Our auto attendant is giveing us grief
When someone calls and hits zero to speak to an operator the call goes directly to vmail for the ext 221 (our reception phone
How do we stop this HelP!

It could be in a couple of locations:
Either the attndt is not available in VM programming, or the attdnt/ mailbox relationship is setup incorrectly, or you could have some setting incorrect, such as DND on busy. Your vendor should be able to correct this quickly.

Check your operator status (Feature 982, password OPERATOR). Make sure ATDT AVAIL is set to YES.

If that is okay, then check to make sure that ext 221 is not call forwarded to voicemail.

Also check the Attendant extension setup in your greeting table for the appropriate greeting being played.

Are the calls going to ext 221 voice mail or the general delivery mailbox?

Make sure that Operator ext has more than one (1) ITCM button.

Problem solved--thanks--this was the solution....
