I have an excel file that basically contains a set of questions, followed by the answers. To help "mine" the spreadsheets, I've built an access db to pull them in, and manipulate.

However when I do this, the text formatting in the memo fields seems to go away. Is there a way to preserve the font characteristics when I pull from Excel ?

Not as "Table" items. You can get the test into a "table", but the formatting is done (to SOME extent_ in forms 7/or reports). Ms. A. is sort of a hybrid previously, this might be have been reffered to as the "Jack of all trades" with the implied "Master of none.

It includes a resonable relational data base, o.k. SQL capability, better than average forms (for data collection, review and occassional editing) and a decent report generation capability. For ANY of the 'features' is is easy to find a better tool. These usually come with even more limited capability in the other areas and mostly at a higher cost as well as the usual additional 'hassles' re integration with the other components.
