Ok. quick question.
I had some old betamax tapes (vacation tapes from the 70s/80s and I wanted to convert them to DVD. I got my hands on a Betamax player, hooked it into my standalone DVD recorder (GoVideo) and made a DVD from 3 tapes. Now, I don't really like the DVD/titling options that the DVD recorder automatically used. Is there is a quick and easy way to rip the DVD into a Premiere usable AVI file that I can add titles and what not to? I've only seen guides to convert from DVD to xvid/divx and IIRC, Premiere doesn't take kindly to compressed AVIs. The final output will be back to DVD in the end. So I'd like to do this all without losing any quality if at all possible. Thanks in advance for all the assistance!
